Haringey Giving’s Changing Lives Fund increases its impact! Your support is transforming even more lives in Haringey! We're delighted to announce that many more people on low incomes will now be able to achieve a potentially life-changing goal. That's because your support has funded Kids Konnect and Refugee and Workers Cultural Association £5,000 each to deliver Haringey Giving's Changing Lives Fund. Over the next 18 months, these trusted community partners will deliver the fund to people living in Haringey. Each person will be able to access up to £750 to cover all or part of the costs involved in realising a goal or ambition. Imagine being held back, unable to access an opportunity to achieve a goal or overcome a life challenge This is a reality for many people in Haringey who are on a low income. Since 2020, your support has enabled hundreds of people to achieve ambitions that would otherwise have been out of reach. Your support is achieving people's goals through timely help in trusted local settings This tried and tested approach has supported people across Haringey. You're enabling people to access training, employment, overcome digital exclusion, and reconnect with others, to name just a few examples. See the difference you've made Over 5 years, 14 community partners have delivered the fund on your behalf to support individuals on low incomes in Haringey. Each partner is embedded in our community and has a track record of enabling people to access timely support to move forward in life. New partner - Kids Konnect An extended offer of support will benefit girls aged 6 to 18 years and family members. A supportive environment centred around each individual will encourage self-reflection. Practical advice and follow up support will enable each individual to identify their strengths and shape their next steps. New partner - Refugee and Workers Cultural Association A tailored support plan will be offered to each individual to enable them to identify and prioritise opportunities for development and change.
