Helen Rayfield - Chair

Helen has lived in Haringey for most of her life and is passionate about improving the lives of Haringey residents and solving community issues. Helen is a professional bid writer and has worked across local and central government in various sectors, bringing expertise in grant funding, stakeholder engagement, fundraising, impact reporting, and governance.

Helen was Chair of Haringey Rhinos rugby club and spent over 15 years collaborating with local partners to develop grassroots sports in the borough. She is also a trustee of the Haringey Sports Development Trust.

We are thrilled that Helen received the British Empire Medal in the 2023 New Year’s Honours List for her outstanding services to rugby union and the wider Haringey community.

Geoffrey Folkes - Board Member

Geoff, a Haringey Faith Leader, is the owner of GEF Associates, a company dedicated to helping people set up their businesses. He has extensive experience working with small and medium-sized businesses, offering a wide range of specialist support, including training and mentoring. His specialty areas include healthcare, consultancy, professional services, the food industry, and social enterprises.

Geoff is committed to customer service and satisfaction, and he takes pride in the number of businesses he has supported. Many of these businesses have gone on to win prestigious awards such as the Enterprise Enfield Start-up Business, Business of the Year, Young Entrepreneur, and Social Enterprise. Additionally, Geoff has served on various panels providing grant funding in local areas.

Joanna Keefe - Board Member

Jo is the Global Corporate Responsibility Manager at Linklaters LLP, where she leads the global community investment and non-legal volunteer programs. With over twenty years of experience in the financial services, hospitality, commercial, and legal sectors, Joanna brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to her role.

Before joining Linklaters, Jo worked in the UK charity sector and specialised in international public health during her academic studies. She is deeply committed to corporate responsibility and community engagement, believing that all organisations have a duty to drive positive social and environmental change.

Mark Swinburne - Board Member

Mark was formerly the Senior Development Manager and Design Lead for Tottenham Hale at Related Argent LLP. Since joining Argent in 2013, Mark led commercial developments at King’s Cross and more recently spearheaded the design of a new residential development at Tottenham Hale.

Mark is passionate about the borough and the opportunities for community engagement. Before joining Argent, he was a practising architect, bringing a wealth of experience and creativity to his current role.

Glyn Clark - Board Member

Glyn has a background in the finance sector where he spent 40 years working in London, Tokyo, Zurich and New York. He is now a business owner providing services to older people, in North London, Wales and Lancashire. He sits as a trustee on several boards and is chair of a charitable foundation supporting children in alternative provision.

Meet the staff and volunteers

Colin Bowen - Director

Colin leads the development of Haringey Giving. He works full-time to engage with our stakeholders and partners, and to recruit and manage our team of staff and volunteers. Colin has more than 25 years of experience supporting charities and communities across London and has worked in Haringey for 15 years. Specialist areas include policy and strategic development, equality and diversity, partnerships and collaboration, community and voluntary sector development, capacity building, coproduction and specific sector engagement including sports.

Milica Milosevic - Head of Grants

Milica leads the development and management of Haringey Giving's grants programs and the cross-borough Givings Together partnership. Milica has over 25 years of addressing inequality through effective, accessible grant making, and is dedicated to supporting our community through Haringey Giving. Specialist areas include equality, diversity and inclusion, arts and cultural sector engagement, organisational development, light-touch equitable funding and participatory grant making.
