Haringey Giving's Together We Can Fund People experiencing inequality and disadvantage within our highly diverse borough may come up against barriers to realising their potential and living fulfilled lives. Haringey Giving’s Together We Can Fund enables people experiencing inequality and disadvantage from across Haringey to create positive change and achieve shared goals. This fund supports three priority areas for action locally. These were established based on local insight and data gathered from residents, communities and public sector agencies across Haringey. These include: Enabling children and young people to live their best lives, including addressing the serious impact of knife and gun crime Improving mental health and tackling loneliness and social isolation, including among older people Enhancing skills and enterprise, including activities and projects by, with and for people living in Haringey who are refugees or from migrant backgrounds. We will fund applications for time-limited activities and projects which address at least one of these three broad areas. See the impact of this Fund Donate and transform lives Who can apply? Thanks to the flexibility of the fund, we were able to help vulnerable residents stay safe, support local services in moving online or to telephone delivery. This approach ensured vital services could meet rising demand, helped reduce duplication and improved coordination across support efforts. Recognising urgent needs, we focused on digital inclusion for children and young people. In response to the national campaign led by Marcus Rashford, we further adapted the fund to create the Child Food Emergency Fund. The Fund helped families access essential food support.
